We’ve made it simple – Just fill in the ‘Let’s Talk’ form on our website. Afterwards you will receive an email where you can choose a timeslot for a call with us. In this call we will identify together what you need and talk you through the process. When you agree to your personalized product scope and duration, you just need to confirm your order and we will ship your gear directly to your door.

Your monthly rental fee is made up of two components: your individual kite package + your duration fee.

Nobody likes getting forced into long-term subscriptions. We have options ranging from a three-month subscription all the way up to two years. The length of your subscription is completely up to you.

We currently offer equipment and accessories from CORE Kiteboarding, North Kiteboarding, Kold Shapes and MYSTIC. But we are always on the lookout for more brands to partner with and extend our current portfolio.

Your subscription begins as soon as you receive your kite equipment at home and not before.

As a convenience, we offer a few different payment options. Our customer support is happy to talk you through these options and find the one which works best for you. In most cases, you need to pay either in advance payment or your first month’s subscription. Your subscription still begins when your gear arrives at your home address.

Our usual delivery period is between 1 and 2 weeks after your first monthly payment or down payment. While processing your order, we will update the expected delivery time supplied to us from our delivery partner. We endeavor to get your gear to you as quickly as we can. However, the delivery times we supply are approximate and can vary, particularly for international delivery.

Definitely! The beauty about kitesurfing is you can never be sure where the wind takes you. You are welcome to travel anywhere around the globe with your gear. Just be sure to take pictures!

As your subscription gets closer to its end, our customer support will contact you to discuss the next steps and possibilities. You will receive a checklist of items that would need to be returned to Salty Lemon – but no worries, we carry the shipping costs for that. You may also be interested in renewing your subscription to get the latest gear, or indicating your interest in using the gear even longer for a lower price. Either way, we are ready to help you and will talk you through it.

If you bought a wetsuit or harness upfront you can’t keep that obviously. Everything else like kites, bars, boards, leashes, pumps etc. still belongs to Salty Lemon and will need to be returned to us at the end of your subscription.

Absolutely! Salty Rewards are your treat for good behavior – once we receive the equipment at the conclusion of your subscription, it will be evaluated for damage, defects, and wear and tear as the result of use. Should it be considered as being in good condition, then you qualify for a Salty Reward – something to thank you for taking such good care of your gear. The Salty Lemon team will get in contact with you should you qualify for a Salty Reward. These rewards could be a discount on your next subscription, a bottle of our handcrafted Gin or Pick n Kite days.

Today, buying anything is a serious commitment. You must fund your purchase upfront, and the responsibility for maintenance and repair are completely yours. Then one or two years later, new gear is released and your actual gear lost a lot of value. Just the thought of going through an annoying re-sale and bargaining process on the second-hand market makes you feel sick?

Salty Lemon is here to help mitigate the pain of the high initial investment needed to get into kitesurfing. We truly love getting out on the water and want as many people as possible to get that same experience, which is why we’re excited to remove that barrier. We also offer flexibility in our packages, so that you can easily upgrade your gear without the admin of selling your old gear.

We also know the hassles around maintaining and repairing gear too, which is why we go out of our way to get your gear repaired as quickly as possible so that you can get out on the water again.

Don’t worry about that! Your most wanted kite gear comes with our Salty Lemon Insurance which covers kites, bars, and boards. You can simply grab your stuff, pump up your kite and start your session. If something gets stolen, get in contact with the local police and send us the investigation report. And if something breaks, all you need is to get in contact with us. We will help you fix it, replace it or whatever is needed to bring you back on the water as soon as possible. Only a deductible of 10% of the damage or loss value will apply per repair or replacement to your account.

You don’t want to be stuck with your equipment during your leasing duration? You want to swap to a smaller board or from twintip to surfboard? You need a different kite range for your upcoming kite adventure? No problem! With our swap options you can adjust your gear accordingly to your skills and needs.

Just contact our customer service. Tell us what you would like to swap, and we will arrange the rest. Your new kite or board will be delivered straight to your door step.
