If you already know which gear suits you best, design your own package at Salty’s Calculator and send us your details. We then confirm the availability and ship your gear directly to your door step.

If you need help putting together your personal subscription we are happy to figure that out together. You can book a meeting with one of our experts, call us directly or flick us a message on WhatsApp.

Your monthly rental fee is made up of two components: your individual choice of kite equipment + your desired duration.

The longer you rent – the cheaper it will get monthly.

We have options ranging from 1 to 24 months. The length of your subscription is completely up to you.

We currently offer equipment from CORE, NORTH Kiteboarding, Kold Shapes and MYSTIC.
We are always on the lookout for more brands to partner with and extend our current portfolio.

We want you to enjoy as much  time as possible on the water, which is why your subscription only begins as soon as you receive your kite equipment at home.

We would want you to have a lot of fun, be safe and sound every time you launch your kite and offer all our customers well treated, high-quality gear.

Therefore we require a certain level as for your riding and kite-handling skills.

You should be independent and ride upwind if you want to rent with Salty Lemon. That would be equivalent to IKO Level 3K or VDWS Level 5.

If you’re just doing your first water starts or similar please contact us and so can figure out a solution for you to hook you up with Salty Lemon gear.

Before we will ship your kite package your first monthly payment is due. 

Your subscription still only begins when your gear arrives at your shipping address. Afterwards you will get a monthly invoice for your subscription.

Shipping within Germany is included and without any extra cost. (excluding islands)

For international shipments within the EU and shipments to German islands there will be an extra cost of 15€ per package.

For kite subscriptions incl. boards there will be 2 packages. Kites + Bar only 1 package.

There may be extra cost for international island delivery within the EU.

Express shipping possible with surcharge.

Once shipped your equipment should be with you within 2-5 working days.

We advise you to reserve your equipment in advance as early as possible. We endeavor to get your gear to you as quickly as possible. However, the delivery times can vary, particularly for international delivery. If you wish an express delivery let us know, and we talk you through the options.

Definitely! You are welcome to travel anywhere around the globe with your gear. Just be sure to take home as many great memories as possible 🙂

No worries – Salty Lemon got your back!

Our insurance covers damage and theft to kites, bars and boards.

In case of damage or theft please get in touch with us. Together we will decide what’s the easiest, fastest and most effective solution to get you back on the water as soon as possible.

It’s important you also get in contact with local police and send us the investigation report in an event of theft.

Your deductible in any case of damage or theft is 10% of the cost for repair or replacement of your gear. (min. 50€)

Loss of equipment is not covered with our insurance.

All good things come to an end… luckily there are always options to continue our relationship 😉

Towards the end of your subscription we can discuss your personal possibilities.

If you wish to end your subscription we will provide you with a shipping label to return the equipment. Return within Germany is free of charge, EU shippings are 15€ per package. (excluding islands & custom taxes)

You may also renew your subscription to get the latest gear or continue to use your actual gear even longer for a lower price.

We are sure that together we will find the perfect solution for you!

Today, buying anything is a serious commitment. You must fund your purchase upfront, and the responsibility for maintenance and repair are completely yours. Then one or two years later, new gear is released and your actual gear lost a lot of value. Just the thought of going through an annoying re-sale and bargaining process on the second-hand market makes you feel sick?

Salty Lemon is here to help mitigate the pain of the high initial investment needed to get into kitesurfing. We truly love getting out on the water and want as many people as possible to get that same experience, which is why we’re excited to remove that barrier. We also offer flexibility in our packages, so that you can easily upgrade your gear without the admin of selling your old gear.

We also know the hassles around maintaining and repairing gear too, which is why we go out of our way to get your gear repaired as quickly as possible so that you can get out on the water again.

The Swap Option enables you to change your equipment during your subscription.

Whether you need a different kite size for an upcoming adventure in strong or light winds, you would like to try a different brand or change your Allroundkite for a Big Air Baby.

With our swap options you can adjust your gear accordingly to your skills and needs.

Just contact our customer service and we will arrange everything for you.

Of course! Our subscription model is tailored to your needs. You are a pro and want the brand-new kite gear? You are a beginner or going intermediate and would prefer pre-season gear at a lower cost?

No problem. Just drag and drop the kite gear you would like to have. You will always receive certified and gear to ensure a maximum of safety but also with all the advantages and services.

Our kite gear becomes a “pre-season”-Label as soon as a new model is released. The gear has most likely already been used and will be checked and verified by our Salty Quality Assurance before it arrives at your doorstep. This way, you will always have the safety and security of equipment in good condition.

We do understand that you might get too fond of your kite gear. Some are even falling in love – because its simply great!

To give you a maximum of service and flexibility, we are offering you a buy-out option, which is based on the value of your kite gear and the monthly payments you have already made. This way, we are not splitting your new love and we are wishing you all the best. But please invite us to the wedding.
